AIRfiber is the solution that perfectly complements Storopack’s air cushion portfolio. The innovative air pillows are mostly made of paper in combination with a water-soluble inner coating. The unique combination ensures that this packaging material can be recycled with paper. The inner coating dissolves during the recycling process and leaves no harmful traces behind. AIRfiber bears the ‘Made for Recycling’ seal by interzero® according to DIN EN 13430. The air pillows are characterized by exceptionally high quality, superior performance, and strong material. They deliver big volume using minimal material, which was previously only possible with conventional air pillows. AIRfiber can therefore be used for the usual packaging applications. Compared to paper cushions that gain their volume by crumpling, the large volume of AIRfiber created by air offers significant advantages in terms of weight savings and cost optimization. This applies to transportation and handling as well as disposal, as less paper waste is produced, and disposal fees do not apply.
